Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials is a government backed scheme which helps you to guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrates your commitment to cyber security. Cyberlab are a certification body for both the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditations.

IASME Cyber Assurance

The development of IASME Cyber Assurance standard (formerly known as IASME Governance) was funded by government to create a cyber security standard which would be an affordable and achievable alternative to the international standard, ISO27001. The IASME Cyber Assurance standard allows small companies in a supply chain to demonstrate their level of cyber security for a realistic cost and indicates that they are taking good steps to properly protect their customers information. The IASME Cyber Assurance assessment includes a Cyber Essentials assessment and GDPR requirements and is available either as a self assessment or on-site audit.

“If security were all that mattered, computers would never be turned on, let alone hooked into a network with literally millions of potential intruders”

Cyber Incident Response

When an incident occurs, every moment counts. Cyberlab will help quickly identify the scope of an attack and will work with you to remediate and secure your network. We draw on leading technology, threat intelligence and experience responding to a wide variety of critical security incidents. This unique combination of skills, experience and tools enables us to efficiently resolve incidents and provide recommendations on what preventive measures would be effective in reducing damage from subsequent attacks.

Security Assessments

A cyber security assessment is a way of determining the security risks to your organisation and the effectiveness of any compensating controls to mitigate against these risks. Many organisational risks are fairly static and predictable. By contrast, cyber risks are constantly evolving at a high pace and in an unexpected manner. Completing a security assessment of your network will help you identify existing compromises and potential risks, allowing you to remediate and strengthen security. As a result, you will be better equipped to protect your data and that of your customers and suppliers, enhancing your reputation and complying with legal and regulatory obligations.

Post Incident Review

In the hectic world of incident response and restoring the status quo, other priorities can make post incident review seem non-essential. This could not be further from the truth, for organisations to improve their cyber security over time this needs to be thorough and consistent.
